C. Be aware of the tutoring programs offered by your university

Just as you may need counseling services, you may also need tutoring to build the skills and knowledge base you need to succeed.

Do not be ashamed if you need tutoring in Mathematics, English, Chemistry or any other subject. As mentioned before, EVERYONE needs help. It is crucial that you take inventory of your strengths and weaknesses so that you can address weaknesses before they cause you to perform poorly in class.

The tutoring services generally employ upperclassmen or graduate students who have proficiency in a variety of disciplines. They can provide the guidance you need to get a 4.0 GPA. And remember, a 4.0 GPA is your goal.
